Rock Album Redesign
Introduction
Omnipotent Youth Society uses poetic yet obscure language to depict the regional landscapes of northern China, the changes of the times, and the fates of individuals. Their music is rooted in the industrial memory of Shijiazhuang, constructing a spiritual world rich in metaphors and symbols through the interplay of mountains, cities, and history.
Project Goal
This project aims to reinterpret the album’s narrative structure, emotional tension and cultural context through visual language, constructing a cross media artistic conversation. Inside the Cable Temple is a album released by Chinese indie rock band Omnipotent Youth Society, which has become an important masterpiece of contemporary Chinese music with its highly poetic language, multi-stylized compositions, and in-depth gaze on regional social realities.

Visual Style
The design of record cover centers on regional narratives, Eastern aesthetics, and industrial memory, transforming the poetic expressions found in their music into a visual language imbued with intense emotional tension. The overall design employs high-contrast crimson and deep black as its primary colors, using rough image textures, layered collage compositions, and restrained typography to create a visual atmosphere that is oppressive, mysterious, and powerful.
